Vox would know more about the forks. I believe they're in the Egli style and may be Egli forks.
The 230mm Grimeca is a relatively inexpensive brake compared with Menani, Ceriani or Fontana reproductions but it weighs a ton. Still, very impressive looks especially with the owner-added rear cooling screens.
I have both 750 and 500/550 frames sitting side by side. I am surprised at just how much shorter and lighter the CB500 frame is from the CB750.
Super model GF? C'mon, what kind of biker are you? Next thing you'll want is a BMW bagger. RR
Aren't some of those drums magne$ium? I've been on some of these sites and the vintage parts are bar none the most pelvic stirring things I've seen in a long while. The tank on the one above is clearly different from the factory racers, what gives?
As for the heft of the 500/550 frame, that's why I like the idea of going 650 for my 550 for a better power/weight ratio than a stock 750. Or, something like that.
Super model? Not really, they have the figure of a 12 yr old boy. No curves! And bikers like curves... hubba, hubba.
BTW: I appreciate the education from those in the know!
This is neat.
