This doesn't really live here guys, but here goes -
(Although it could provide inspiration i suppose)

Here's some CAD of swingarm setups
Stock wheel on K1/K2 swingarms - all OK
17" x 160 tyre on F1 swingarm - just (note that sprocket is out further by about 6mm on F1/F2 hubs
17" x 160 tyre on K1/K2 swingarm - no go (the tyre would foul the swingarm and also the sprocket / chain line fouls the tyre

I have a 17" x 180 on the CB13 and would like one on the CB750 but i think 160 is max (with F1 swingarm) without a lot of work (Looks like 150 would be max with a K1/K2 swingarm but i didn't draw that option)
With a swingarm swap 180 may be possible but the chain may foul the frame (not sure - didn't draw that one either)
CB750 K1 - undergoing restoration (on hold)
CB750 K2 - Wanted - More time to work on her
CB1300S - the most awesome bike i've owned yet
Z1000 1977 - Wanted - a head in rebuildable condition

Ok - now we're talkin'
The only problem then is sprocket alignment

Mick, can you give me some details of what's involved with fitting that swingarm. I want something simlar on my K2 but not sure what to look out for / which swingarm to get

Thanks

Damn... I think that would be just a little too wide for my bike. I kind of like these Conni's, though:

Once a month there is a get together called Backfire here in Seattle. I took some pics Wednesday of some of the bikes I thought were worth remembering. Sorry if they are a little blurry, I took them with my iPhone.

When I right click and try to open in a new window (which usually works in cases like this) I'm taken to a Google Mail account login screen. ??? Also, reopening the post to "modify" reveals Google Mail addy also.

Sorry I tried to just share them from my email but I guess that doesn't work. I just modified the post and used my old stand by photobucket.
I hope that fixed it.

Heffay, I agree the CB-1 was a sweet bike. Under-rated and over-priced is what did it in.

But what we are looking at in the picture is a 650HawkGT. Several subtleties give it away, but the biggie is the CB-1 carried its disc rotor on the right side, the Hawk on the left.

The spokes of the CB-1 cast wheel were 3 single spokes, straight out fromhub to rim, the Hawk's are as you see there, 3 pairs in a swoosh pattern.

The Hawk was also underrated and overpriced. It has a very enthusiastic following, like our CBs.

I've got a lot of miles on my Hawk, 40K+ with some nice mods, so I'm a little prejudiced.  :D

i've always wanted a HawkGT, as well... one of my MMI instructors had a hopped up 650 that he raced.
AND he was a large guy that did pretty well on it!
