not bad, but... 750 as inspiration? why, because the 750 has two wheels?  ;D

this was posted a while ago i think but i've never seen these images before...

yeah heff, that gave us the phrase "jumped the shark" meaning something has run passed its course.  ;D

Yeah, this is a bad bike. I've never seen one outside of pictures though.

Here's a bunch of pics somebody took of our last Backfire event here in Seattle.
I'm sure there is something in there for everyone.
http://picasaweb.google.com/R100RIDR/BackfireMoto52002#

My bike is the 5th picture in. It's only about half way done so some of what you see is temporary.

there is one at the motorcycle salvage yard down the street from my house it looks like it has some years on it but looks good for being in a salvage yard

the one application of lil lights that makes sense to me is on a street tracker or other such repli-racer.

this one isn't so small, but ya git the idea. just an excuse to post a tracker. ;D

The exhaust on this bike is neat, how it hugs the rear fender and has a flex section to allow movement of the rear swing arm

The exhaust does not hug the rear swing arm, it is the rear swing arm.  If you look closely there is a piece of flex tube that allows the swing arm to move up and down.  Great idea, terrible application.  The way it is set up it does nothing to help HP.  One of my buddies dyno'd his both in stock form and with a 2 into one can.  Got almost 20 more HP once carb was tuned for the two into one........

This one is for sale (first generation Hellcat) if you want one:

Sorry bro I was gonna post in the SBPT thread that I was gonna drop off a gift here for all to see.

I definetly like the second version over the first one. Big football is it yours or you just showing that its for sale from someone?
Don't get me wrong I'd still drive the first one like I stole it, and the dyno thingy I think it stated that it made like a 150 or so hp if I remember (now I gotta go back and lookie) with a low weight, whooo hoot hold onto your butt and whatch me burn up these 180$ tires. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Goon it is mine and it is for sale!  It ONLY has the 100" HiPo S&S mill, but she is crazy fast up to around 80 - 90 mph and the torque is incredible.  The 100" engine is my favorite out of all the first generation Feds, they came with: S&S 98, 100, 113 a couple of the last ones had 124 / TP 107 / two versions of the Merch 120 not to mention a few Mid USA 124 mills.

My buddies 2nd generation Hellcat had the 124 or 128" Confederate designed engine with some super nascar technology?  Claimed around 150 ponies but in reality was only 115 with exhaust through the swing arm.

That's very interesting bigfootball, goes to show the possibility of how much hp loss can occur. If that's what it really made, still all very sharp bikes. 8)

decide to crack out on the shift key?  ;D

naw, i write my ransom notes like that. too lazy to cut up magazines.

the gas powered bicycles i've seen were 4 strokes. but i wanna a (poorly tuned) 2 stroke to ride through my high and mighty college town like a millionaire in his duesenberg past a 1930's breadline. i thrive on public disdain.
Been workin my way backwards through this thread, but when I read "Deusenberg" I live about 20 miles from the museum/factory where they were made.   Perhaps someday I will take some pics to post here.
No matter how fast or how far I rode, I couldn't leave her memory behind.
