An Italian inspired by our beloved SOHC.

Nicely done.

This one reminds me: does anyone here remember the Benelli Six? It was an almost cold-cock copy of the CB500, with 2 more cylinders added outboard. It made a beautiful-looking 750-6, but had a bad rep for handling and electrical reliability.

Sure was pretty, though, and I almost bought one: they were so rare in the U.S. that I couldn't get in a short enough 'line' to get one before I moved to CO and didn't have the money anymore.
See SOHC4shop@gmail.com for info about the gadgets I make for these bikes.

The demons are repulsed when a man does good. Use that.
Blood is thicker than water, but motor oil is thicker yet...so, don't mess with my SOHC4, or I might have to hurt you.

As much as I love this thread, I hate it.  :o

There are some truly sweet bikes on this thread.  I am not done with momma's and I want one for myself.
I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

Hondaman, you mean to say an Italian machine with electrical issues?! That's gotta be a first. ::) There's a post somewhere and the Sei was brought up. I posted an image.

Spikey, home run with your post man! Love this gold framed one with the CR type pipes. I know someone makes 'em for small cc Honda's but can't remember who. Expensive, that I remember.

A Grove, this might not be exactly what you had in mind but this was the company I was thinking of regarding those pipes. Likely someone else out there too as I've seen pipes just like the gold framed Honda before.

Unless I translated the price wrong, those are very reasonably priced. I have always wanted a set of custom 4-4. Too bad they are on the wrong side of the ocean.

How bad is shipping from the UK anyways?

I forget what the current exchange rate is, think it's not as bad as for Europe, but don't forget to factor that in.

They are sweet!

edit: oops, rereading your post Shenanigans, it sounds like that's what ya did. My bad.

Since I am tearing my 550 apart again I might give them a call and see soon. I am seriously considering a set. It would turn out a lot better than if I attempt to make my own.

The "Press-formed double curve meggas for HONDA 250, 350 and 450 twins." are beautiful too. Imagine 4 of those!

Those are some cool looking pipes, but it's too bad that they have the worst website in the world. ;)

An Italian inspired by our beloved SOHC.

The Benelli Quattro engine is almost an exact copy of our 500's ... A lot of parts actually fit on our bikes.
I have the engine breather cover of a quattro on my 550, it looks much better than the stock one.

So the gauntlet has been cast, the die has been thrown down... I'll come up with something inspirational and not repetitive. Don't hold it to me though. :D

That's funny, when I bought my bike it had a purple crush velvet seat, a purple sparkle tank, and some nasty high bars ;D
Rode it to work a few times before I turned it to a cafe.  Got laughed at and joked about quite a bit :)  Comments like "Queen Machine", "Tinky Winky", and "Purple Passion".   All in good fun though  ;D  Wish I had taken some good pics before I tore it down
