I do feel pretty lucky having seen both that green guzzi and that custom chopper on the same night less than 10 miles from my house. :)

not a 100% but i think it's a nitrous oxide tank. i like the laughing gas as much as the next guy but seeing these bottles hanging off of show bikes is akin to the 1980's madonna with that crucifix, style points only.

Do you have any close ups of the housed girder forks?

Here's the pics I took of it awhile back. The spring for the seat is a nice touch.

Found these while trolling feebay and the interwebs... SO SAD!!!!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ducati-Bobber-L-Twin-Chopper_W0QQitemZ180399511212QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUS_motorcycles?hash=item2a00a616ac&_trksid=p4506.c0.m245#v4-34

Ok to be clear I suppose that if I had nothing better to do and had a spare ducati lying around to cut up.... I'd still probably not do this to it.  :D

go to the ebay auction, hit the print screen button on your keyboard, go to paintbrush, click edit, paste, then cut the desired picture from screen capture, copy.
click file, new, no, paste, crop the corner to fit the image, save as, then upload it to photobucket.
   nothing can stop me!!!
I've done it so much, it takes me less than a minute now.
