Some more, I was wondering how they managed to get the power to the rear wheel.. Turbo? I think so...

To truly appreciate the Cook bike, you should take a good look at early fours, ie Henderson 7 Indian Fours.. to fully grasp how well he pulled this off.  It will all start making more sense! A lot of the major elements are there, and it was a huge amount of work to do that..

Geeez cafeElite. Dont go looking at my build thread, you might make me cry.
 ;D
Do your worst on this one

I have seen your build....

The ducati is borderline perfect. When a man finishes a build like that he really has done his beast work. The bike flows so well it makes me dream of have skills that are just not possible.

 A couple of things about the Duc single irk me, and it is far from perfect..;

The frame is going downhill, in itself not so bad except the bend at lower front of frame  makes this more apparent... a big radius curve may have have helped that out..
The Tank is going downhill, that pretty rarely ever looks good. Also the front edge of the tank, angled to match front downrube, would have looked better, or maybe tank slid back.. at any rate those lines clash...

It may be just the picture fooling us a bit on that tankline, the front wheel is turned toward us.  I've seen a 1098 in person and it looks great.

I am talking about the single, not a 1098.
I just realized the front downtube is dulex, instead of factory single... might be stiffer but does not look any better..

Damn I thought everyone has the same perspective of perfect as me :D

I will say though that the things that your picking out I think were objectives of the build and a little play in the photo. When I look at the pic I see a lot of MH900 influence. The bike being on the rear stand gives it a bit more angle then really there. Put in flat ground as well as a rider and you would see it flatten out nicely. I think the objective was to line the front of the tank with the exhaust and not the frame which I like considering exhaust tends to extenuate the lines more then the frame. I do like that the front and rear frame sections angle evenly.

Its clean and simple.. I heart it.

Now only if the fairing was removed from this..

Might look a lot less dramatic sitting firmly on both wheels...the rear is lifted two or three inches on that stand...

I thought about the rear stand, then I held a sheet of paper across the bottom of tires, still goes downhill to me.

So is the Rickman Kawi.. man do those pipes hang down in front of the collector... :(

I knew a guy that  had a RickmanKaw, rode with him a few times, as I glanced at the pic, I noticed first the rear peg hoops, and thought Rickman..

With the Rickman the bottom of the tank is following the frame line. The top of the tank is paralell with both the bottom of the seat and the ground.

What I mean in the Rickman, is the engine, and lower frame rail, looks tilted downward at front. .. as ipposed to stock Kawi position..
