One of my few pics I have of my XS1100 Standard.  Perty sad looking for only one year old.  New in '80, like this in '81.  Yes, no rear brake.

Not an inspirational pic.  I do miss it though.
I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

Seeing a fellow forum members build on a dyno.... 8) 8) 8) = INSPIRATION
We watch each others bikes grow up from barn finds and CL buys and even drunken ebay wins. It is like we are sharing pics and stories of our kids growing up. BrendEns kid just went to college. :'( Whats next!?

Now that's what I'd call a CB400F SUPER SPORT !  ;)
I'm thinking it's a 500 because of the clutch cover and the side of the head, but near enough as makes no difference. I really love the look of those generations of race bikes, the line of the frame and the tank.

+1 to all of that.  Definitely a 500 bottom end.

No clue what page, I tried looking for a while. I figure they must be two of a run of race bikes. Super cool.
