Cal, we all know you have Beemers hidden in your closet that you never expose to the light of day.

I love the blue frame on the BMW and the exhaust how it tucks the bike.

Cheers.

You're so hip you hurt!

I just don't advertise them, or on this board. Some guys who I yak with offline mention them, and they get "publicized" is all. I like this place for the community, the knowledge sharing, and the inspirations. Ok, the Beemer above is inspiration for me on my R90 but also on the 572 build in a round about way...

Hip?  Cal - I still wear Dockers and Topsiders.  An 80s throwback.

I expect to be invited to the coming out party for the R90.

Damn, I'm so dense I missed your point that FTFY was not understood. Doh! Thanks, Knickers- sorry there, BF.

Okay, so let's not go overboard; I'm not xenophobic, homophobic, or agoraphobic. But my BMW will NOT be "coming out of the closet" while I own the damn thing! Perfectly happy for others to ride the brand or gender of their choice, but I drive bikes, cars and my wife, thank you very much.

The motor is backwards...right?

https://www.facebook.com/Kruyswatermotorfietsen

The head is.

Oh...that makes way more sense. I was imagining some crazy thing on the drive-side to reverse the output shaft...I wonder if it's just a simple 180-flip for the head? I want an XS650 badly...but not a bobber. I want a stock 76

I do still have the bike. Need to do a few more things to make sure its reliable and then I will put it up for sale. I have a 175 twin that I am building slowly. As well as another 125. My garage time is limited now, Daughter, work promotions, wife, house, ect., and I have fallen in love with dual sports. I will always tinker and build vintage Hondas just at a slower rate now.
