Not big on fairings but some kind of twist on a classic race bike and this using an old car grill would be sick

A 32 Ford grill would give a nice kick-out at the bottom. ;)

Nobody here likes every thing shown in this thread..
But some times, even on a style you dislike, a single detail may stand out..and may influence to pursue that direction, or something similar..
Ie, the polished aluminun number fenders on the trike..the taildragger style on front....
May get someone Thinking I want an alloy fender or tail section, cause it looks #$%*in on that trike......... Inspiration... Hence the name of the thread..

I'd love to know who built it and a bit more about it as there seems to be a lot great craftsmanship in it.
Aside from all that, you have to giggle at the fact that you strap yourself into it with a 4 point harness and slip on a set of ear muffs to ride (drive?) it

It's cheaper to learn from someone else's experience but first you have to learn to tell the difference between a fact and a Furphy.

I'm not saying it didn't require a high level of engineering.  It's just not my cup of tea, nor is it a motorcycle.

These will inspire you to ram your head into a wall or fire you up as this bike is being built by a new buddy of mine Zeke with the help of his dad Patrick and some mentoring by my ol buddy Bryan Fuller.   He's only 12 or so....hence the "ram you head into the wall" comment.  He is really quite talented and is adding new skills each and every day.  If every kid had a supportive family like his, just imagine how much better the world would be.  Pretty sure they will be at the Barber Vintage festival this year in the Ace Cafe.

Here's a link to a thread they've created on dotheton:  http://www.dotheton.com/forum/index.php?topic=66169.0

I thought his name is Zeke. Same kid who built a streamliner last year or so. That's a cool looking project.

No worries. Thanks for posting this, especially the top photo.  It really shows how narrow the bike is.  I bet it weighs next to nothing and is very flickable.

I don't know what tank the wrench monkeys used, but this looks somewhat similar: Kawasaki KC100. Long and lean-ish, although it does dip down on the base-line rather unattractively (in my opinion)...

Looks more like a CR750 tank, there are some differences in their shape, depending on who makes them..
