Not sure how a picture I took myself of my bike got on this site but thanks. Just some details...
Bought new from Thriftylad Honda in Santa Monica, rode home and tore down...
'77 CB550F bored to 590cc using milled CB750 pistons/rings.
Head flowed by "Mama" Yosh. Yes Mama not Pops.
Doubled up on base gasket to reduce compression.
Stock cam with S&W valve springs.
American Turbo Pak Header & Intake.
Exhaust fabricated by San Pedro Muffler
Modified Mikuni snow mobile carb.
IHI Turbo.
Dunstall Clip-ons (Micron)
1980 CB750 handlebar controls
Fiberglass front fender.
Dual front discs mounted reverse.
Modified Honda CBX tail section.
Kawasaki KZ1000 side covers.
ARD (Alan Richard D'Angelo) Magneto.
Boge-Mullholland Shocks.
Carol Shelby Wheels.
Paint by Steve Young of Crazy Painters (former employee of George Barris) who modeled the paint after his own Turbo CB750/1170 with side hack, known as "The Shadow" BTW - Rare that any painter would model a paint scheme after one of their own personal creations.
Once a picture gets on the internet you never know where it will turn up. Thanks for signing up and giving us the details.
