What type of class is it being raced in?

Looks spectacular.

These are the bikes the international riders at the Phillip Island Classic were complaining about, It races against the Suzuki Katana 1100's, XR69 Suzuki {gs1100 engined}endurance bikes, Kawasaki 1000 and 1100's and other muscle bikes of the era 1973 to 1982, It usually beats them too... They are getting up too 165HP out of the old pushrod twin 8)

165 hp out of that motor is amazing - that's comparable to modern stock superbikes like the BMW, Yamaha and Kawi and better than others

That's some pretty impressive leather work.

Yes it is. He's a member here but couldn't remember his member name.

if you read the description, the bike is a normal american market cb900f, but the bodywork was sourced from europe in order to get that Europe market only paint scheme

Thanks Don...I'm trying. I got cocky and thought I had more...but I blew the focus on too many...that shallow depth-of-field is so easy to mess up...then I went home and #$%*ed up my S90 because I am stupid http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php/topic,160971.0.html

So this popped up on Saturday on craigslist in Long Beach...I was going to try to see it Sunday...but it was already gone

The posting said it was a 1974 barn-find with around 6700 mils on it. They were asking $2000. I really wish I had seen it.

Probably worth it for the parts (snowflake wheels) alone.  Someone would want that dustbin fairing, but you might have to ship it.

me too.....and this is a dustbin (your right Ron, well below the axle on a bike or sidecar.  They were banned because they made bikes so unstable in cross winds.
