I'm not sure what that gold/white monoshock bike is, maybe a 360 or 350 not sure.  Whatever it is I bet if he put half as much effort into making it look good as he did $3!tty it would be a damn nice bike.  The craftsmanship is evident, the rear drum notwithstanding.

WTF.. not everybody has the same opinion of what "looking good" is.. then again maybe the bike isnt done either.. either way I dig the bike.. it inspired me.. point of thread..

What inspiring pic did you post?

I'm not trying to rip on the thing.  I'm just saying it looks as if he meant to leave it looking incomplete, which I don't appreciate, not my style.  However it would be something if it were in a "finished" state.  That being said, it IS does reflect a lot of thought and time put in.  It looks almost like a modern sportbike take on an old 350, with the tail floating like that.
Don't take my comment as criticism because I inserted some special characters in place of a curse.  How 'bout I put in "ratty" instead and end it with a smiley?
Now because lots of folks on forums tend to take things personally please don't; it's just my take.  I realize folks usually want input only if it's positive.  Let's leave it at that.
I didn't post any inspirational pics, but here's one I like.  Unrelated to bikes, but inspirational nonetheless. And now that he's hurt, I feel slightly empty inside, as if someone else killed my arch rival comic book nemesis that I've been trying to off for years:

Fastbroshi: I completely disagree with your opinion of the monoshock CB350, I think it's awesome. But I disagree even more with anyone who tells you that you're not entitled to your opinion. I think that you should be able to say whatever the hell you want. Go ahead and criticize, that's what happens when you show art publicly; some people like it, some don't.

If we only say positive things, we'll end up in a world where every custom bike built is "beautiful in its own right". Bleah, no thanks. :D

Of course, that's just my opinion...criticism welcome.  ;)

That thing is SOOOO sweet!!!  I'm guessing it's titled as a motorcycle due to it being a "side car"?  What are the chances one could do that now-adays? In the states, that is... (PA)

I kinda like this one myself, but I'd rather have a different setup on the rear or do the front of the bike different. Makes me think of 2 different styles. Maybe a different exhaust system. Probably just me, but it kinda has a "Batman" sort of look. Since I DO have the 80' CB750K DOHC myself, I'm kinda looking around for some ideas for it. I'm wanting a more trim look, but not too complicated. Is that as clear as mud?

Being a fan of the 60's Kustom movement I can appreciate your dad's efforts. Is he a body man?

Don't see to many short wheelbase shoe box Chevy's anymore! And the other looks like a channeled 57 with a 55 clip? Like the 58 impala roof vent. Very cool.

Like that Stude in the back!

Yeah, you guys are cursed with all those 'old' cars. If I had any room I'd be glad to unburden y'all from at least one of 'em... that's just the kind of guy I am.

I had a '60 Dodge but sold it not too long ago. A stalled project I'm afraid. :-\

Can't find my pix but here's what it looked like.
