Is that a Factory Five car? I love Cobras. I 'll likely get sued by that 'auh shucks, I'm just a simple chicken farmer" for saying Cobra with out written consent from his lawyers. ::)

(God bless ya Mr. Shelby)

Back to bikes, (although inspiration does come from many sources I believe) I am really stuck on the one-off frame bikes as well as the Seeley, Rickman, Martin creations.

Here's one I'd love to build should I get that winning lotto ticket, i.e. I'm a poor boy.

The strap around the rear end came loose, when breaking the car rolled forward breaking off the trailer jack and hitting the tow truck in the tail gate.

miner damage, we were only 1 mile from the shop, delivery was delayed 1 day but I think dad might have gained a few gray hairs that day. ::)

Only on the Egli bike. I posted a Harley a while back with a similar frame and gas went in the spine. Oil went under the seat.

I can't imagine that! I think all of my hair would have fallen out, let alone turned gray! I don't know if you said it was or wasn't a Factory Five, but my buddy and his dad put one of those together. A sweet car to say the least. They only mildly massaged the 5.0 and it is a rocket. For the 25-30K it costs to build, you can't buy anything close to it. It's such a raw car- probably the only car that driving it, I felt as close to the road as on my bike. I gotta admit- I like the roar of the Shelby more than that of my 550-

I'm thinking of making it a single seater by basically cutting the stock seat pan almost in half, welding up a plate to match the contour of the stock tail and re-upholstering  Cafe'd using modified stock F tail...  What do you think?

slow and steady does nothing.

Sounds good! Don't forget to post in the 'projects' board! That stock seat looks like a black ants butt. ;D

I like the idea of shortening it and retaining the tail. Dig the paint job.
