Those pipes are flat out SICK!! Im think we need to get a group of ten or so of us together and see if he will give us a group buy special on these.

I think there would be a huge demand for a nice set of after market 4 into 4 pipes.

What I think someone needs to do is come up with a sort of slip on that would look similar those pipes posted above, for the stock pipes. Plus you cant beat the stock header pipes. There are so many sets with rusted out mufflers out there. Cut the pipe here and slip these on. I wonder how many people who cut up a good set of pipes though...  ::) I suppose you could do the same for a 750 too.

The first bike is an SV!

Spikey,

isn't this thread suppose to have motorcycles in it? Oh, wait... I think I see, is that... oh yeah! If I squint real hard I think I see a bike in there. ::)

Oh well, if there's a more persuasive form of inspiration I don't know about it.

Funny, but I just realized I'm developing a habit of posting Harley based rides here. Odd.

Dunno, I like to change it up often.  I spend so much time on the forum it gets old to me quick I guess.  I am at loss for an answer, lol.

Anybody wanna guess how that textured gray finish was done?  "Cast" paint?  Sandblasting + colorcoat?  Sandblasting + matte clear?

Anybody??? RR

I think it's a pretty "Slick" bike also, but like Uncrash, I am wondering where the oils rank is also? ??? Gas tank seems to have only one cap and I can't tell if there is a frame tube set up as an oil tank either.

I was going to say the oil tank was in that long gas tank but you're right there's no visible cap. ???

As for the gray finish, I'm a bit rusty with my car knowledge but I seem to remember an high temp paint similar to this. Can powder coating have a matte finish?

If you look closely theres copper lines running up and along towards the hump behind the seat

looks like the tank may be under the rear cafe tail piece.  looks like some copper lines run close to the frame in the opening behind the air filter

It appears that the oil tank is under the seat hump, early Yamaha roadrace style... I'd asked a couple years ago if the stock CB750 pump would support this kind of arrangement but I don't think I ever got a final answer.

Uncrash, what pic were you trying to post? Hopefully it will help with the gray textured question.  If so, could you please repost?  I've been looking for an answer since I first saw these photos.  RR

It could be powdercoat.  You can get different finished with powdercoat from flat to high gloss(which is what you mostly see).  im actually getting my frame powdercoated flat black along with my wheels.  ill post pics when it done  but wont be for a while.
