I've been inspired by these triumph "bobbers" so much I am looking to do one now.  ;D Damn you "Inspiration Gallery" :D ;)

Sorry if these have been posted before:

To bad I don't know that much about the conversion. Does anyone else, or can point me in the right direction??

Cafe Racing is mainly a matter of taste. It is an atavistic mentality, a peculiar mix of low style, high speed, pure dumbness, and overweening commitment to the Cafe Life and all its dangerous pleasures. I am a Cafe Racer myself, on some days - and it is one of my finest addictions. ~H. S. Thompson~

+1. I'm a big fan of 'clean' and detail over flash. Having said that...

So is it hard to do that bobbed/chopped triumph? Is it costly? Anyone know?

That old Triumph bastard in portland on Sandy Blvd (who is no longer there by the way), Quoted me $10,000.00 :o For a basket case! $30,000.00 for a complete. Cafe' style but there is not much difference in a cafe cost wise in my opinion, bobber would be a little less. So I went for the sohc4.

WOW :o :o :o

That's ungodly!!! And Insane!!!

I'm sure I can do a lot of the work myself, but at those prices, the parts for them would have to be through the ROOF!

Geez..

Dudes, if you really want a Turnip bobber, just join the Jockey Journal. It won't take you too much time to find a good one.  Ride well!   ;D   RR
