That's the Triumph Hurricane, designed by Craig Vetter who worked on the design from about 1970 until 1973, when Triumph started selling them. Lots more info on Vetter's website here: http://www.craigvetter.com/pages/Motorcycle_Designs/Hurricane_Pages/Main%20Hurricane%20page.html

And yes, he's the same guy who designed those Windjammer/Vindicator fairings that were so popular on SOHC4s in the seventies.

Thanks cowboy. I just love the lines formed by the tank flowing into the body trim and how the seat seems to be an integral part of the composition. Gives it a nice high, slightly aggro stance but still dignified. Brilliant.

There was a racer back in the late 60's I think that used to run Buick nailheads with the heads flipped, exhaust rolling out through stacks going through the hood.  Looked pretty wicked in a couple shots w/ flames coming out the hood!

Cant see why it would be bad, you would need a custom cam, and exhaust. The carbs would fit though, I think.

So I just got done reading the entire thread, the 650 is hard, but the 750 is plausible. I'll start the build thread tomorrow after I get some good pictures.
