Is it just me or is that Blue brat the most symmetrical bike in the world? I really dig how everything is level to the ground and the minimalist design is superb.

Now that might be a good idea for a chopper with a poor mans v twin look.

OK, I have no willpower and have to post again. This just occurred to me. Instead of the CX how about the engine outta (I think) the Honda Africa twin 750? I think it's air cooled.

don't know much about 'built ta go's' but i've seen some nice ones on this forum.

i'm told in spite of some particulars those cx/silverwings are stone reliable. personally, i think they look darn cool over all. that red cafe is quite cool

this one is from a french site i think.

Wow that is interesting.  There was a CX650 Turbo, make a cafe out of one of those might be cool. Find one in really bad shape, and if someone knew how to tweak the turbo.

Probably want to keep it original if it was in good shape.

I think most of them are right here:

I guess I still have a bit of "old school" in me. I had a 1968 Bonnie and would like to have another.

My dad and I rebuild 1 just like this several yeas ago. We put jap jugs and pistons in it. I only got to rid it once. as it sit in front of the body shop a man approached the bike wanting to buy it, dad said it was not of sale, well we all know everything is for sale and the guy kept on till dad gave him a price. Dad thought it was a ridiculous price, but the man came back with is wife in the car and rode off on our newly finished toy. The price was $5500 and I am still pissed.

Man, one of these days I wanna Honda twin... no, two. One to Bob along the lines of this, the other a repli-racer with a Tony Foale frame.

If I ever get a twin it will be a Triumph, I just like the look fo the motor, and the status. It may be corny but Triumph cafe' bike's are what got me into this whole honda sohc4 business in the first place.

I think my soft spot for two strokes rivals Eccos's obsession with spine frames.
