How inspiring. They really didn't cost all that much to make. Of corse its really nice to have a decent shop, availability to parts, a friend who is a very good welder, and having some mechanical/electrical savy.

Not sure if this is their 500 or 750 but its the old H2 tripple two stroke Kawi.
All ya gotta do is get a dirt bike with a blown motor (happens all the time) and street bike where the motor is still good (it happens all the time)  make one outa the two and go have fun be the first on your block

This is the one and only "Joe Allans" 750 . He is a CB750 guru. A whole bunch of thanks to this guy. He may still be a member here? I'll have to ask him. Anyways ,,, a spined bike,  (someone around here likes them) alcohol fuel in topsection of tube, oil reserve in bottom. Really fast Always first place in the class and will even take first racing with the big guns

Now for the big stuff. A little more than just a couple of broken bikes thrown together (like I did).

Couple of little dirtbikes at our track, kids with their toys on a Sunday. This race was absolutly stunning I will never forget it. On one race they both broke the alltime record and were within a couple of thou between.

I don't think America is cool enough to have street legal quads.

Montana allows street legal quads.

REALLY!? like, just a  wheeler on the road with lights and sh!t? or are they cool ass street quads?

They are legal here in Wyoming too. Basically any kind of vehicle can be made street legal now in Wyoming: golf carts, quads, dirt bikes, tuk tuks, odd vehicles that are not DOT compliant for safety. Call it a multi-purpose vehicle.  Just add lights and turn signals, buy insurance, and you can get a plate for it to ride everywhere BUT the interstate highways. It was a new law last July. Hasn't caught on in a big way yet, but we are starting to see a few more odd-ball vehicles on the roads.

There's a guy in town with an odd little truck, with a 600 cc engine. He drives it everywhere. Keeps up with traffic, and gets great mileage. Basically one of these, but I don't think it is a Suzuki:

I've been to Joes house a couple of times. Quite a character, a lot of what he said went over my head, but I enjoy the tours through his awesome shop.  Fred down the road from him built my 836 motor for my Tracy bike.

Whens your next race weekend?   and where exactly?

We race in Youbou. Not sure of dates right now Google "CVMA" maybe?  I know we are going to put on a show at Port Alberni on May 30th

Jay, do you have any idea how much horse on the Alky Honda750.? When you stay, it still beats most of the bikes you mean the other 4cyls? Bet it makes a bit of torque.. ;D

I think I did see a few of those bikes at the Angels swap meet a long time ago..
