HT, this is Lorcan on the drag bike Storm, a few teething problems but will be a fast bike when sorted, it runs 2 turbos.

Sam. ;)

That's not your typical twin turbo either.... it runs a smaller turbo to get things going and further down the line a HUGE turbo to make the real power.

I am absolutely in love with this bike.

Yes Sam I know Lorcan from the 750Turbo site. It's where I found all my inspiration for mine when I was digging it out of a back shed to restore it to it's former glory.

His bike is beautiful.

Sigh..... Now I want mine back.

this first one has been an inspiration to me; i'd love to build something along these lines someday- i love everything about this one. the member's name escapes me.  ???

and this speaks to my pathological fixation for the egli-type spine frame. lean little bike.

HT, Lorcan was the first person to offer condolences when I melted the piston at the record attempt.
He spent quite a while explaning where I could get custom pistons made while at the same time looking over the front end of my little Honda.
The night after, he was on the phone wanting me to measure the RSs front forks.
He was wanting to know if a set of RS Honda forks would fit his Quack to get it lighter and lower ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

In respect of the Storm, Lorc is only the rider. The motor is down to a guy named Mick Hand.
In the early to mid 70s, mick turned the drag world on its head.
The fastest bikes in the UK were still in the low 9s when Mick joined the 9 second set with a blown nitro burning 250 Honda twin called Little David. He allmost beat everyone to the 8s with a very low 9 in 350 trim but as you well know, that honor fell to Lorcans Dad Keith. 8)

Im not a drag racer. That being said, what is the tie strap on the front wheel for? To keep the wheel from turning when it does a wheelie?

i remember something in my drag (car) chassis books about not wanting the front suspension to drop as weight is transferred rearward off the line. that's what i was thinking here.

i know this is bike inspiration but i can't deny my car roots.

may i humbly suggest that a darker red than on this 750 might look better with straight white.
