I agree, they are just soooooo expensive to even get ahold of one to start a project with.

The M-G going in costs ain't squat compared to the price of parts! How's about $695 for a rear master cylinder? And that's just for openers!

A lot of Beemer kickers never get used.. I used mine a lot when I had a bad battery..

I dont know if normal bike parts are high, so much as, a lot of Japanese stuff is real cheap & plentiful.
I mean when is the last time you saw a Beemer laying around in a yard, or beside a house.. Japanese makes.. all the time.

Them Euro bikes cost more..
I think my 81 R 100RT was at least 8 grand new, a Honda 900 was probably around 4 ish. There is a huge difference in some of the parts between Euro and Japanese, the latter is very oriented to low price.

sorry guys, am a life long guzzista (see my nick) and this couldn't be further from the truth. Guzzi's are extremely affordable to buy, maintain and above all caferized, don't even try to put them in the same league as beemers cost wise.

Like with everything, you have to know where to look for stuff. Go to CMSNL and you'll be quoted outrageous prizes for honda parts too, what does it prove?

but maybe it's better that you all keep thinking that guzzis are expensive, will leave me with more bikes/parts for my projects....
