OK this guy either has to much time on his hands and has alot of motor or likes doing this for fun.   But that would be a cool ride to ride to the neighbors house for some beers.

There are a lot of amazing bikes in this thread and most of them are "inspirational", However, I want to post some pics that are inspiring for several reasons.  The first reason is it's the look I'm after, but more importantly it was done by one of the members here.  Inspiration by look and Inspiration by one of us doing it.  I haven't seen it posted, but forgive me if it already has been.

ShortRound's project bike for his neighbor.

Props to Shorty for not only building it, but giving it away!  Can't say I would have.   ::)

+1  i've posted member's bikes before. you could argue a nice bike built by one of us is the most inspiring of all.

this is soo's if i'm not mistaken. not a wild race bike but it would turn my head and one of the nicest 650s i've seen.

3 time's the fun !!   :o   ;D

Russ Collins? The owner of RC engineering built 3 of those 750 tripple bikes. One for himself and 2 for customers. ALL 3 set WORLD records. He was a hard core drag racer and amazing CB750 hot rod parts supplier. I have had a couple of his pipes and WOW those bikes rocked.
Carpy is selling a few of his RC items on Ebay right now. And I just got another bike with a vintage RC pipe on it.

Don't think Russ ever made DOHC triples. OCICBW  Many of us here are RC fans (or antagonists  ;) ). legendary stuff.

You ever notice that if you tell a stranger Even if he is into bikes) you rebuild old bikes with vintage speed parts their eyes just glaze over and roll back into their head?

I think the triple may be from Motorcycles Unlimited in Oklahoma.. maybe from Carl Ahfelt. ...looks like RC ignitions..

RC did have quite a bit if stuff for Kawis, pipes,  pistons, cams, blowers, maybe even a turbo kit... but they loved racing the sohc 4..

This is very inspiring. Best of both worlds - Rigid looking but handling like non-rigid - just opposite to struts.
