That's bloody amazing.  I can't believe the bike stayed upright like that. I'll have to try that some day...

Maybe not.

I dont think I buy that. I can buy the fact that the bike could right itself, but I see no reason that he would just fall off. looks set up to me.

Fair enough - but staged or no, I'm still impressed.  It was well choreographed enough to have the other riders whizz by, too.

I like the sneeze theory - let that be a lesson to us all to take our Claritin before getting in the saddle.
One day, I will put up a signature.

no that's impossible, no no, can't do 21's front and back, impossible, no, not do-able, can't exist on this plane of reality, one would have to be a fool to even think of such a thing.

I tried to google around, but couldn't find more info. The pic seems to be taken on some japanese show/exhibition. Maybe mooneyes hot rod show or similar.

Pipes like that, at parties, guys would piss in em.. :o

Never , I repeat NEVER stand behind a high piper, during startup at a party.. ;)    ;D

That pipe BTW, is a textbook example of how chrome makes something stick out (in a bad way), rather than, blend & fit in with the rest of the components..
When a meg is mounted lower, and not past the wheel, it blends in better cuz the mass of the wheel and swingarm absorbs the size of the muffler, better than out in the open..
JMO free advice being worth what ya pay for it.. ;)

See to me that doesn't look that bad.  Its different. Mayme needs to be shorter than it is.  But to me I think it fits the bike.

HUGE fan of the dual 19'' look.
Might have to source some 19''s for the "Apartment Bike" project..

If you're worried about the rear tire being too skinny you can get 130/70/19 goldwing tires from here-
http://www.skcycleparts.com/bridgestone__goldwing_tire.htm

edit: it's a front,  just turn it around.

So Beans, would you run a pipe like that on a 500 or 750 4, or 1 up each side ?

I would not. I was running a meg on mine but because I have a high pipe it was going down at a 35 degree angle.. had a slash cut end..

See seeing it in a pic and in person would be different.  In the pic it looks ok to me.  But then again I don't know if I would run it.   I would have to see how it loooks on a 500-750 4.   To me I think it would loook better if the pipe was shorter and was on both sides.  But to each their own.
Keep it shinny side up.
