the shape might be inspiring to someone but...
can anyone explain the gigantic size of this seat?
it's not form over function, that's for sure.

my god, you could put a car battery under there.

i like that this guy built his dream bike.

http://www.marcusmotodesign.com/

"Based in Stockholm, Sweden, Marcus Carlsson always wanted to build his own motorcycle – a ‘café-racer-going-on-superbike’ as he puts it. So he’s put together the machine you see here, which is based on a Suzuki TL1000S and is inspired by a Husqvarna roadracer from the 1930s.

The V1000 GT concept uses the stock, 125bhp Suzuki TL1000 v-twin engine, with a custom-built exhaust system. The original TL1000 fork is retained, while the rear shock is an Ohlins item. Marcus reckons it took about 1,200 hours of work to put the bike together."

I call bullsh!t on Marcus.. ::)

 yeah, it LOOKS LIKE a HUSKY TWIN FROM THE 30's, in that it has tires and 2 cylinders.. nothing else , That I can see . ::)

 Look it up.. Husquvarna road racer, its a beautiful bike & I have seen one in person.. does not look like that Marcus creation..

 It looks like Marcus has a lot of talent, and built a really cool bike, but I am failing to see a connection to the Husky.

Stunningly beautiful detailing, but the overall shape is just wrong - way too stretched at the back end.

It didn't say the bike should look like the husky twin.

Here in Seattle there is bunch of moped groups that show up at all the bike events. I can't remember the name right now but there is company making 100cc hardtail choppers that are street legal. These guys are making some really neat custom choppers for around $2k. If I remember the name I'll post some pics.

I like the cafe racer mopeds, I've seen some here that were vintage Push? mopeds.
