BSA C11 engine (250cc OHV) and (I think) gearbox.  Wonder how the drive chain is adjusted as there appears to be no axle slots nor sprung tensioner wheel. Maybe that explains the drooping chain.

Ecosse.
You can get, you can get, you can have..

You need 2-400 bux of bicycle parts..

About 100 bux of mods to the frame and forx...

A motor, and build a tank, and paint.. that most of it right there..

i know i know...  ;D

there's a company as well who will sell a bare bike frame, tank, and suitable fork for around 400 smackers. a enticing base to begin such a project.

it will likely happen.

here's another tasty example. thing is i would rather find an alternative to these typical engines seen on gas-bikes. or... try to retro it up (the modern mill) as i suppose the older wee engines must be hard to find and rebuild.  ??? looks like the previous white bike has some older engine.

The photography leaves a bit to be desired, but the bike itself is pretty bad ass.

My buddy Mdub and I went on a trip back in July, stopped in at the Sultan Shindig in WA where there was supposed to be a massive ABATE rally with a large vintage japanese presence. Didn't quite work out that way, the first day was a car show, lotsa nice cars and trucks, but no bikes. That show was supposed to be sunday, so we stayed an extra night but there weren't more than maybe 30 bikes altogether and I think only 4 or 5 weren't HDs. but there were a couple interesting ones...

and then I ran out of room on my memory card..
