I see this all the time at the local chopper shops.
harley builders have no business trying to make a honda cafe.

NO BUSINESS I SAID!
everything I say is pure speculation and
I have no idea what I'm talking about  ._.

I really like this guy's work. Especially the FLASH which he made for Brad Pitt.

Yeah, I think you're right MMI.  Was that an FXDX you started with JRK, or did you paint the engine?  The blacked out V-twin has been growing on me lately.

alas, it has become painfully apparent why i keep flunking private detective school.  :'(

imagine that for a switch; a hd being mistaken for a metric. somewhere a hells angel is peeing his chaps in anger.

still, a cool machine.

That French thing is Le Banana Haute!

Pardon my Englishness, when you guys refer to a 'Metric', do you mean a Jap bike masquerading as a Harley or any Jap bike ?

i think it usually refers to japanese bikes but technically it's any 'ferrin' bike, hd look a like or not. it seems (imo) the label is used more by those with a harley perspective. not that there's anything wrong with that!  ;D

Le Banana Haute? i could wake (it's 5:30 here) my french speaking sister up, but... what the heck does that mean, the top banana? cool.

well, no complaints from me. the forks are arguably a just a little bit too strong for the rest of the bike, but it's still bloody beautiful.

Thanks Ecosse for the metric 'conversion'. Yep, Top Banana. Apparently it's an old music hall expression for the comedian who goes on last, i.e the best one or Top of the Bill. For some weird reason it re-emerged in GB in the 1990s, being used to describe the Boss, chief or head man/woman.

The TX is a 500... was a ground up build...
the harley is a 06 FXDBI street bob that i torn all the way down, powdered, custom CNC work, motorwork, and put back together... i also made some bags for it on long trips.. sorry the pics are a bit old, i layed a ton mroe powder on it since these pics... soon as we take the rest of the parts out of the oven ill snap some more pics
here are a few more shot of the harley and the chop

from this

to this

(with the old headlight)

the chop has a rev tech 110 in it, frame by unique cycles, paint is all house of color
we have set this sucker up to be a rider not a trailer queen... she rips just took a ton of work to get her running on point! This is my brothers baby!
