Yeah, I keep hearing more and more about Fuller Hot Rods. Nice skill set over there. It'll be interesting to see what happens in a high-buck shop with an interest in old SOHC iron.

I don't see any provision for a rear suspension on that 500/550.  Is it a rigid?  RR

I was put on Earth to accomplish a certain number of things. Now I'm so far behind, I'll never die!

yes, your eyes are deceiving you.. it's a cb550 engine. the frame looks like a featherbed knockoff.

Doesnt look like they got there yet.  Frame is held up by the bottom and the wheel/swingarm is just hanging it seems.

It will be a mono shock setup, but they just had a steel rod in place to hold the swingarm up.  You can just make it out through that void in the engine mount bracket.

The headtube is factory Honda, but everything else on the frame was jigged up from scratch.  It was definitely top-notch work.

They should build and sell those frames. I guess titling would be a nightmare.

i really dig the featherbed style ... with the exhaust kinda turned in at the headers, gives it that Triton look .... very nice i think

just saw this walking into the computer lab on campus.  i HAD to post it!  it's pretty inspirational, i wish i could find the guy and talk to him more.

he's using a tiny little gas tank from who knows what, and he has a battery pack full of AA's.  i can't believe the dang thing is inspected and registered!!

inspirational to say the least of what you can do with a little imagination!

It looks to me to be a CB500/CB550 four.. Although I could be wrong. Love that frame, the pipes are cool.. The rims are spectacular, giving me some ideas.. naw.. probably beyond my budget.. :-)

they have good taste! who is the builder?

Yep that's my buddy Bryan Fuller out of Atlanta.  Got hooked on those when he saw my 550 a while back.

He's deeming it the world's most expensive CB  ;)   You can't tell from the photo, but it is a mono shock and if you look closely
the forks are engraved and the finned exhaust collars are scratch-built from stainless steel.   Truly ridiculous in the best way.
Frame is all hand built as is the tank and tail section.   The black dot you see on the tank will be for a sight glass off a WWII airplane.
CNC for the hubs.   Exhaust isn't final yet.

grips will be leather wrapped - by an authentic swordmaker in Japan.

He's a child of the junkyard and swapmeet.   He's got all kinds of headlight and tail lamps etc collected over the years.

It will be something to behold when finished.
Yep, I'm the kid that figured out how to put things back together...eventually.
