It would be easier to modify the 750 frame to suit....

some framework and an extended swingarm like mine would fix that.
everything I say is pure speculation and

Eh, once some of the tread wears off it'll be fine... No worries.

Yup that would do it. I am guessing that the tread on the tires would not last one day..  ;D

The 750/BSA I posted was a SOHC photoshopped into a B40 trials bike. What I had in mind was converting a CB750 to give it the 'offroad' look.
Those knobblies do look good but you'd want some kind of enduro/tarmac tyre if you wanted reasonable handling.

But that look really appeals to me, reminds me of the big offroaders of the '60s  ;D

Hey,, thats me. Jay Allen from Vancouver Island. Ask away. I have built many street bike based dirt bikes/hillclimbers. My favorites I had in this thread but someone removed all the pictures. Email me at jayal09@telus.net and will send pix with info. I have two real sweet XR750 Honda's made from XR350/CB750 . We just took them out a couple weeks ago and jawdropped all the local dirt bikers. Loads o fun. They feel & handle like factory bikes

I believe they are shorty shocks  by Forza, not sure where to get them however if you google (or your favorite internet search) you should come up with some thing.

One of my favorites,.....MV Agusta, built by the American Albert Bold.
Headers were made out of a swimming pool ladder and the brake discs out of manhole covers. (written in the article)
I found the article in an old German motorcycle magazine from 1994.
Sorry for the scan quality.
