Here's an interesting take....

Details are scarce, but this Jet Ski is powered by a V8 made from fusing two MV Agusta F4 1078RR 312 engines together. The resultant 2156cc, 308bhp, carbon fiber–hulled monster is called the F4 Interceptor. Motorcycle engines have long served duty in jet skis. Previously, the most powerful was powered by a 250bhp, supercharged Kawasaki ZX-14 engine with a top speed of 68mph.

I am sorry... 250hp to get 68mph... I used to ride an old beater jetski @ 50-55. Seems like a waste to me. Figure out a way to put that motor in a lotus or the KTM X-bow and I will be excited. And throw a turbo at it for good measure!!!  ;D ;D ;D

I had the 1100J which was the last of the slab sided GSXR's, in the 750's the "J" model was the first of the new shape. The J,K,L models were basically the same with small changes in the engine, {stroke i think} and the "l" was the first 750 model with the upside down forks, i had a mate who raced one and i rode it several times and thats the reason i know this model well. We were the same with the GSX and bandit, the USD forks came a lot later in those models..

Mick

I really like the older Gixxer's..especially the slab sided ones.  Cool stuff!

You 'need' an 1100M, they definitely handled better than the earlier models (but still weaved and wobbled pretty good around 130+ on slightest bumpy bend  ;D)

The main problem with the "M" is that it was a lot heavier. On my "J" i had an ohlins rear shock and progressive springs up front and all the metal brackets like the fairing bracket and so were replaced with all alloy ones, mine was light and fast and had no wobbles at all, i never sold it, it was STOLEN.......arghhhhhhhhhhh.

I wonder how many Sportbikes the SS would fit into? Now that would be torque monster. A 450# Sport Tourer w/Street Tracker mimimalist tendencies.
That would be Moto Porn to me!

it's a bicycle chain with numbers brazed to the links.  probably takes one of those school clocks to run it. (big spindle, strong motor)

EXCERPT:
I like this clock. I can't exactly say why but I think it's because it costs $2,338 and is definitely something my son team of highly skilled artisans could recreate for a fraction of the cost, ultimately saving you, the sucker, a bundle.

one of our favorite wall clocks, the catena wall clock hearkens back to traditional mechanical clocks. copper digits mounted onto a bicycle chain place emphasis on the cyclical nature of time. this clock is a striking clock, literally and figuratively.

IT'S A GEAR AND BICYCLE CHAIN. Sure it's awesome looking but you can't justify a $2,400 pricetag. Besides, what if some punk steals my chain for his BMX? Then I'm timeless!
