From what I hear, the first year 1969 Kawasaki 500 Triples in restored condition were going for 10 grand before the market took a dive. :-\

Imagine...10 grand for an old kawi middleweight! :D

Go to YouTube, there is some seriously cool smoker vids on there!

~Joe

a 500cc 2-stroke isn't really "middleweight" in the same way a 500 4-stroke is.

Royal Enfield 500 Bullet in Delhi, India with locally hand-made tank seat & hump. Made in steel but coated with old oil and grease giving it a bronzey look (with a little help from Photoshop I'm guessing). I really like the over-sized seat and tail.

I figured out why his pics are so vivid, he uses an Nikon D60 camera to take all his pics and plays with a program called HDR.

I talked to Chanderjeet, the guy that is building that enfield bullet, he said he's almost done, he just has stickers left and he'll take more pics.... also it's after midnight over there.

I was enjoying the kawi triple talk, but didn't catch it soon enough.  I don't like to plug my own stuff, but here is my newest build...

Man, what a beast! ;D

That is more like what they would bring over from Japan, if smokers were allowed.

You have ALOT of ground clearance...do you need THAT much for cornering?? Seems excessive.

Thanks traveler, as for ground clearance, it's not as much as may appear in the pic.  It does sit a little higher than stock, but I still have to fit some custom made and very "fat" expansion chambers under there

this is a bike that recently inspired me to seriously consider going cafe style with my 75 cb550. I still haven't entirelty pulled the trigger but I have a guy lined up to make this style of seat on an original seat pan (giuliari makes the seat pictured). I really dig this bike and I almost purchased or traded for one recently but didn't think I wanted to deal with having a two stroke.

On that note, here are the pipes that I will be welding together for it
