I've been lurking in the background on the SOHC site (cause you guys build some nice stuff!) whilst working on the 1979 CB900 DOHC, noticed the recent comments regarding the comstars, I decided to keep them, only polish the outer rim and paint the rest to match the stripes on the tank, black with red fleck, I agree they don't look as good as spokes (but substantially cheaper)

Hi Rude,
very nice CB900F - I've had two; absolutely love them and can't understand why they're dismissed so readily by 'those that know'.

I think the comstars work fine on a bike like the CB900F, which was made in the modern era. It's when they get put on a bike whose lineage goes back to the 1960s that they don't look right.

naw, that only looks like a 240, max. but the pics are a bit distorted, so i could be mistaken... Ecosse, do you have any other pics of the cbx? that thing is SHARP!!

1 amortisseur juste pour les photos qui etait provisoire
