is it a law in france to use the yellow light? i see it sometimes but not always.

It used to be. AFAIK the origin of that was to separate own vehicles from enemies in war time.

Don't know about the war aspect, but when I was in Tahiti (French Polynesia) way back when, yellow lights were the only lights allowed on the island. seemed to illuminate just as well but a whole lot less blinding glare from oncoming lights...kinda peaceful, actually..

+1

Back in the 1970s when us Brits went to France on holidays vacation we were required to put yellow film over our car headlights or replace the bulbs with yellow ones. As far as I can remember it was an anti-glare thing.

Woof. I'm all about the single gauge right now.

Give's TinTin a run -  is that a Read-Titan tank on this XS650?

That's a great looking setup for a Yammi.

Really diggin how the seat pan "rolls" into the tank.....if upholstered correctly, that line won't be ruined.

too bad it isn't alloy :-\

Totally loving this frame I missed on Ebay. Owned said it was aluminium & weighed 26 pounds. Anyone know for sure? Got way to pricey for me.

it's a blue tanked yamaha flat trackerish kind of thing, with white mags and rear struts. it was a confusing decision in my opinion, as there were some really amazing bikes there, but i guess somebody liked it a lot.
