Probably pannier tanks, that's why the seat looks weird?

it is ...odd

I think I'd have done something more creative with it.
maybe make it smaller, since it's not a dirt bike anymore.

BTW, where's the gas tank?

He uses it in the supermotard version (it's all in the build thread I linked).

I didn't read any of that thread, I get distracted quick when someone does boring things to their bike.

The top surface of the tank and seat looks like a supermoto track. Starts with an uphill whoops(louverd tail), then a gravel dip (seat), then a smooth back flip ramp (gas tank) ;D. Braaap braaap!

He needs to put a super-extended swingarm on it and run it in the unlimited class hill-climber version!!!! :o

That boxer cafe looks great.  Actually considered doing an r75/5 for my current project, but the price and availability of CB parts won me over.

There's always next year.
Take care,
David

I prefer Benjies stuff over carpys, just wish i could afford it. Its the look that drew me toward the cafe style in the first place. The trixie special is looking promising, but has been a long build. Lets go Bejie! lets see the finished product!!! :D
Having an integrated gas/oil tank is very, very appealing for a 750 cafe build. Might start saving my pennies.
