Billy, the Drixton Hondas are built by Bartel Engineering in Northern Ireland, they are the people that do the CR750 tanks and seats that was on the Bike in my avatar.

The RC142 was the second factory 125, it was the same bike as the RC141 but with an 8 valve head. When they raced in the 1959 I.O.M. TT the 4 valve 141 was not fast enough so in the space of a few days, the made the 8 valve heads and shipped them to the Island, the rest is history.

They are the mufflers/silencers needed for some circuits over here....this was the fastest honda 500 through the Sulby Speed Trap in 2010 at 129.3mph

Does it come with a 6ft "I'm so cool" I mean stabilizer wing? You know to match the lowered honda crx with the same exhaust pipe.

I know that's a real race bike but I think I just filed that into my uninspiration gallery.

Nope just a bare unpainted frame.

This is my CB350K4 standard frame though

so... i assume the bare frame is clear coated.

btw: how much lighter is the drix frame compared to the stocker?

no coating on frame, standard lighter than drixton but bendy

Is that a Barton frame kit? Denis Curtis over here is making Drixton replicas. He just finished one that will use a Yamaha 650, and next up will be one to take a 350/4.

I remember seeing a webpage about how you did the RC51 rearsets on that CB350, good stuff gave me some great ideas. Beautiful bike too, thanks for the pic

Indian Larry a motorcycle builder died several years ago from head injuries doing this same stunt when he lost his balance and fell.
