Damn, as soon as I get a shop space here in Seattle, I want to do exactly what this guy is doing.

Seattle? What happened to Madison?  If they kicked you out, why do you think you're welcome here?

JK.  What're your riding for Backfire?  Maybe we'll see you there.

Ah yes.  Backfire.   Answer?  Nothing :(  My bike is on a pallet back in Wisconsin, along with my shop equipment, and won't be getting shipped out until two things happen...

1.)  I get a job
2.)  My girlfriend and I get a permanent place.  We are subletting month-by-month up in Shoreline right now.  Bike definitely can't come play until it has a home to go to :(

I need help moving my project bike from Wisconsin to Seattle, WA.  Willing to pay well.  Contact if interested.

From my stop in Bonneville on my most recent cross country kruze...

Indian Larry a motorcycle builder died several years ago from head injuries doing this same stunt when he lost his balance and fell.

Yeah, but his bike was moving, not sitting on the centre stand. ;) ;) ;D

Indian Larry was good at what he did, which goes to show accidents can happen at any time. No different than getting it in between the eyes by a high fast ball or your chute not opening.

And how could I not get a picture of myself surfing my motorcycle at Bonneville?  ;D

One of the stops on the garage tour had these. Not sure what the first one was. He said the name and it was not familiar to me. the other is a custom.

Mick

i like it 'cause it's shiny.  :D

but seriously that is one mean bike and i like that it's not full fairing. a fairing would likely melt due to that turbo anyways.  ;D

that bike has popped up a few times. I love the paint and how it sets off the yellow headlight.

yeah i thought so. this is the first of this particular shot i've seen tho and agree with what you said about that light and cool paint job.

btw: what's the 411 on the bike you posted?

First on this page, the v-twin, is probably a Marushin  or Lilac.. from japan.. a similar bike was built by Hoffman in germany, but was a boxer twin, I think..

The last tracker, those were built by Roehr , Rohr.. somnmething like that, in Calif I think..

 Cost 110 or 140 for a frame back in those days... :o   :o   :o

I dont know much (about that motorcycle). It was a museum full of tracker bikes and i didnt have much time to do anything but snap pictures and drool. I plan to go back and educate myself on some of the stuff there sometime.
