Ok I forgot about this one...So this would be the first one I would own, then the other one I posted...: Scott :.
You've got to watch your back in the SSDB, this is where the clever guys get bored with bike talk and make poo jokes.
Jeez. That thing is hairy. I love it.Yes, El Gigante is the same bike. Didn't know there was video of it. Thanks for that!
Just looking at the rear frame on that bike Zaipai, the rear tyre would hit that on a half decent bump, i would turn the rear frame uplike on the previous picture...Mick
Wow Scott, i wouldn't call that inspirational.... Mick
Clearly this man is insane..."Wendell Jones of Oakland, California sent us an email saying he built a motorcycle, nothing out of the ordinary there, but then he said it was powered by a Honda CX500 engine turned sideways and converted to chain drive plus the wheels were mounted single sided both front and rear."http://thekneeslider.com/archives/2006/12/15/motorcycle-builders-wendell-jones/
TT, this thread has also gotten to me. Because of it, I just picked up a 14,000 mile '76 GL1000 for $750! It's gonna be a very naked long-distance cruiser; great for an olphart like me. But that one is enough non-CB750's. If I go CX crazy, I hope somebody just shoots me! RR
Posted this question on the last page but... that front rim - Comstar off the turbo CX500? GL650?Answered my own question:CX500 Turbo came with those rims... and dual disks. Wonder if the triples just bolt up.
I'm mostly interested cause I'm betting that folks who would steal a machine off the street will have little interest in a CX no matter how good it looks. Likely the same with a GL.

Wonder if the triples just bolt up.Hi Iggy, the wheels on the turbo are comstars but the wheels on the "lego" bike are an astralite on the rear and i don't know what the front wheel is but it is no comstar.....i know that much.....
