I am in love.   I think it's a WrenchMonkey creation, but I can't find it on their site.   Anybody want to guess what tire and rim combo that is....

I think my cafe build might go this direction instead.   Hubba, Hubba.

The tires look like Dunlop's dirt track tire.  They make a DOT version, but not sure how well it would work on the street.

close.... they are Maxxis dirt track tires
if you look closely you can read Maxxis on the side of the tire.  great bike...

You guys inspired alot of what is about to come, so i guess ill post it here too.So as im awaiting the return of my engine for my 550, I finally got the T shirt shop up and running. These are the first samples as im still working on color options and production numbers. These are simple graphics as the whole "affliction" style thing is well not appealing to me. There is a mix of my hand drawn graphics and some photo style graphics coming. These are hand screened so I will keep production fairly low.Ill keep you guys posted.
Cheers!
johnsy
p.s. This is inspired by a pic from member "Industrial Cafe" thanks for all of your photo submissions. keep em coming.

Xlnt t-shirts, and inspirational on their own!

so i just got back from my local dealership .. and got to see one of these in person ...and man , i was impressed ..  i don't usually like this kinda of bike, but i saw soooo much potential in it , now i really want one

2010 ER-6n

it's very low already .. just take that plastic rear fender off,get rid of all the plastic crap(except that awesome headlight), change the seat a little ,add a side plate,  some low drag bars, or clubmans, or clip-ons
....and thats really it IMHO

and i also got to see the honda fury up close and personal finally ... and although i didn't really care for it that much .. i did like the styling cues, it's very clean, the lines flow very nicely and all of the paint options are fairly conservative ..

i wouldn't go buy one .. but i don't think i'd knock someone for owning it

I know of one he built that was $105,000. That's pretty serious!  :o  RR

Well let me tell you guys, today I got an email from Jesse Rooke (bike builder). A few weeks back I sent a few emails asking for some photos of his KTM cafe racer seat cowl. I thought that all of my questions were being answered by a PR dude or shop manager.....turns out it was Mr. Rooke himself. Just thought it was really.....cool of him to get back to me and send a build photo.

That is cool. I like his bikes and the fact that he does not build choppers like everyone else. He surely has his own style.

my favorite thing about Rooke is he can take a sport bike, put a girder on it , and still make it look good ... and i absolutely love the Schwinn looking bikes
