Forum issue with Firefox

Anyone else getting the error message about needing to load a .php file when they open the site in Firefox?

Not just a firefox problem, this morning the site was having problems it seems.  Firefox was pulling up the "Open or Save File" dialog, and IE just showed a text page with PHP-related stuff on it.

Seems to be sorted for now.

I'm still getting the Save or open dialog box.  Is there is something I'm missing?
Thanks
James

I'm having problems with a temporary internet file using Int. explorer.  Not all subjects, but I can open some of them.
Computer can't find some obscure file, and it opens up my PrintShop program for some weird reason.  Computers can be fun, and then there's time like this when you really begin to hate them, when you don't have a clue how to fix the problem.  >:(

I had the same problem.  I changed my bookmark to point to "http://forums.sohc4.net/" instead of "http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php" and it loaded right up.  That is, unless it just happened cleared itself up at the same moment I made the change and it had nothing to do with it.  :P

Ahh.... I just did that and can get to the page but as soon as I hit "Show new replies to your posts" it gives me the error again.  I had my bookmark set to the new replies page.

Have you tried the 'reload' button?  I haven't used firefox for a while, but that would straighten it out when I kept getting an error, seems like firefox was keeping the error in the cache and loading that all the time. Reset to compare every time and never had the problem again unl;ess there was a problem with a board.

Ken.

Yeah, sounds like a caching problem to me.  In Firefox, hit CTRL+SHIFT+DEL and clear your cache.

That worked! Yeehaw! ;D ;D ;D   Well. ok.... I had cleared just the cache and cookies earlier and that didn't fix it. I just hit CTRL+SHIFT+DEL and cleared the whole list. Firefox enema. ;)
