black and grey/silver tones... the only thing throwing that off would be the skull under the tank...  and the few gold bits.

i do like the dark, sinister flatness it has now though.

AdvanceAuto carries some real nice Duplicolor paint.  They sell some cool candy in rattle cans.  Silver flake base, candy red, and then gloss-black flames.

That skull popping out of the coffin tank is possibly the coolest thing I've seen this week.

No color, no color at all would look sufficiently sinister enough, unless you wanted to narrowly pinstripe the edges of the coffin for some visual definition. Either way, Nathan Explosion would approve.

Holy smokes!  Nice work there.

I think that the custom work on that bike stands out enough that a fancy/flashy paint job would just detract from it.  Matte black with some tasteful pinstripes sounds good.  Maybe a little logo or something on the points/cam covers?

Is it just me, or is that footpeg mount made out of a pair of handlebars and some risers?

Yea, you got it. I am tall and didnt want to be cramped with the jockey shift and clutch. I had to have something that allowed me to get to the brake easy, and this did it. ( after all I only have 1 brake, back)  I fabricated a bracket to mount to the 2 front engine mounts, used a set of risers, and  sport bike handelbars filled with steel and modified old s-kool early 70's hi-way bars for the pegs. Good eye! I like the pinstripe idea also.

The eyes don't light up, I though about it but didn't because thats what most would do.  the Skull in the front is what I modified to be used as a coil assembly cover. Notice the plug wires coming from his jaw bones?

I would paint either rainbows, kittens or baby ducks on it.

That tank is awesome, great work.

If it were mine, I'd find a good air-brush artist and have them color in the skull on the tank and then clear coat the tank and fenders. Pin striping would good with this, too.

I love the coil cover.  :)

(get a round headlight, though... I never liked the square ones on a bike like this.)

Soos........The skull on the tank was hammered from 20 ga. about 12 hours worth of labor in that. The tank itself is from 16 ga. steel.  Another 10 hours labor ................  I know its slow, but I dont do this for a living.
tsflstb ........  I think Duckies! GMTA
KB02.............. I airbrush also and thought of that and also have thought of doing some True Flames comming from the  skull on the tank.
Thanks for the input guys.

+1 on the Pin striping.  But I really like the "murdered" out flat black!

Love the flat black but I'd ditch the eyes and leave the eye sockets black on the tank, It looks damn sweet as it is.  Those highway bars are the coolest things I've seen second only to that tank.

I would change all of the gold highlights to silver, remove the skull from the head of the engine or tone it down. Obviously this bike isn't a toned down one, but I think I think the gold and the skull on the engine draws the eye to much from the nicest part about the bike..... fabrication and metal work. Then top it finish it with some gloss black highlights or pinstripes on the base flat black color. Thats all just IMO. Great looking bike, at first I hated it but it grew on me  :) and I really like it now except for what I mentioned (which isn't saying much)

Great bike, thanks for sharing  8)

Terrific little project bike, totally illegal on our NZ streets but hey sooo much fun, well done that man. :)
I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

+1 on the rainbows.

I would paint the bike a really pleasant shade of pink. Put a wicker basket on the front and tassels from the hand grips.
Oh, And airbrush a big 'hello kitty' on the tank!

Really, the flat black & skulls are just trying way too hard.

AWESOME BIKE. IF IT WERE MINE, IT WOULD BE CANDY GREEN, WITH BIG GREEN METALLIC ADDED TO MIX. WITH THE SKULL AIRBRUSHED COMING OUT OF REALSTYLE FLAMES ON TANK. JUST SOMETHING ABOUT CANDY. CHROME OUT SISSY BAR,SPRINGER & CONTROLS.  BUT THAT'S JUST ME THOUGH. NICE RIDE. JOHN
