I know we have a few, just wondered. If you are one of these lucky folks, list the model.
Made it a poll just to keep a running tally.

I bought my 750K3 new for $1600 from Honda City in Montreal where I worked as a mechanic. It has been my main ride ever since. Previous to that I bought a Honda S65 new in 1966 and still have it too. My wife and I have been together since 71.

When I find a good thing I tend to hang on!

Bought my first new Honda (CB160) from a hardware store
in Stamford, Connecticut in 1965, but I don't have it anymore.
The lure of the 305 scrambler in 66 was too much !

I often wonder how many owners mine has been through.

I do know who the original owner of my 350 in Wyoming was though. At least I assume it was the original, it might have been the second owner. I actually have the sales receipt from when the bike was purchased from Lee's motorcycles in Cheyenne Wyoming in 1974 for $1200. I have managed to get in contact with the original owner a year or two back, he said he bought it and fitted the rack and a windscreen. He didn't ride it much and it hid in his shop (workshop?) from 1976 - 1994 when he sold it to a friend of his nephews. He part exchanged it for transport of the 4 wheeled variety.
No one knows who exported it or why, it seems to have had one or two owners in the UK before I bought it. I met one of the UK owners at a rally once. From the way he was looking at the bike I think he was regretting letting it go...

I am the 2nd owner of my 73 750 as far as I know..
bought it in 76..the PO holed the cases, replaced with unnumbered set. They are sitting as I put a 72 in it for a while.

Never had a new bike..

A guy I used to ride with got his 71 CB 750 new from a shop that also sold hobbie stuff or model cars. I am thinking Honda put a stop to those kind of shops in the 70,s.

My first job at Bobs Honda in Dearborn Heights. I got to ride an awful lot of different bikes which was great. I almost bought a CB450 in late 69 but waited till springtime 70 and got a nice candy blue green CB750K0. Sold it in the fall, and bought this candy garnet brown K1 in spring 71. After HS graduation, set off on cross country trip, outstanding! but I'd have to take 10 times as long if I did it today. So, I guess I'm on my second CB, even though I voted yes, oops.

Maybe we need a second poll, "How many had one new, sold it, and then came back to them later in life." ;)

My K0 had about 100 miles on it when I bought it in 1969. The guy I bought it from rode it about two weeks and then his wife decided he didn't need a bike.  ;D So "almost" new. I have the sales slip.... $1,200 from Honda of Orange County..Orlando, Fla. Still runs like when I got it.

Before that I had a Honda 305 Dream I bought new, but the date and amount paid are lost in the brain cells. This is the only bike I have ever sold.  :'(

Sadly, no, indeed. But I have to say that the 650 has turned out to be one of the most user-friendly bikes I have ever owned. 18,000km in two years and still going strong.

Bikes bought brand spanking new: '72 CB175, '73 CB250, '77 GS750, '96 R1100RS, '00 VFR800

Bought my CB750K2 in September, 1971, from Brown's Sport Cycle, Peoria. Manufactured 3/71 on frameplate. It still has less than 130,000 miles on it!

Well it's a "no" from me, but not really "sadly", either. I bought a new (superseded) 1975 CB750F in 1978, the Honda dealers here in Oz couldn't move them and were selling them for 600 bucks under the list price of a new F2, and as I was only 18 the finance company would only give me enough to buy the F.

It was a yellow one, and while I could live with the color (just) it was way too "slabby" for me. I could have bought a K7 (we didn't get K8's here, by that stage CB750 sales had all but dried up as Honda was decimated in the sales stakes by Kawasaki and Suzuki DOHC bikes) but I didn't like the look either.

I traded the F in on a car, and didn't buy another bike for two years. That was my first K1, and it was a much nicer bike, IMHO, of course. Cheers, Terry. ;D

I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

"Crazy is a very misunderstood term, it's a fine line that some of us can lean over and still keep our balance" (thanks RB550Four)
