wrinkle paint

with spray on wrinkle paint has anyone had luck with techniques for getting even wrinkling tried a blow dryer didnt work out so good. I heard put a coat on the wait 5 min.. and put another coat one...any help would be great.

I've never used it, but if you can use an oven, I've heard that works better.  ;)

there's a site member who had his tank finished in wrinkle or in truck bed liner...

That would be ProTeal; he was doing a cb450 twin and Line-X'd the gas tank.  It looks pretty sharp.  I'm sure he's got some pics on the forum somewhere.

I bought some Harley Davidson wrinkle paint for my old (new at the time) Electra Glide.  I was modifying the rear floor board mounts, which involved cutting and welding, so I had to refinish them.  I just shook the can and sprayed it on according to the directions, and it looked perfect.  IIRC, it wrinkled up as it dried.

I'd like to see someone do rattle can hammered finish with flames, and then about 15 layers of clear to make the finished surface as flat as a regular finish, man it would have a sweet 3-d look to it.
