decide on a color in what sense? which original bike to find and buy, or which color to attempt to re-create?
can of worms either way -- this could be fun. the variables involved in either scenario could take you on a quixotic adventure. depending how picky you are....
example: imho, a candy garnet brown tank in decent condition is gorgeous (which, incidentally, i never would have guessed until i saw one in real life). find a sun-baked one, and it's candy garnet/puke green/brown. try to recreate one, and you'd better have the right recipe and cook (painter), and conditions, etc., because it's not as simple as picking the right code out of a book. although Turd Brown is a hot color for this fall, I hear.....
