Well its time for throttle sleeve #3. The first set of grips I got off ebay were nice grips but once I got them on the throttle side broke free of the rubber insert and spins freely on the throttle sleeve. I bought them as a return from a guy on ebay and he said they were in good shape they just didnt fit the last buyers bike. Anyways I liked the style so much that I ordered another set from a local shop and a new sleeve. Got them both end and installed and what do you know last week the brand new ones did the exact same thing.
So I have found a completely different style and am going to order those but the JC Whiteney Site shows they have a replacement sleeve that replaces part #431-300-010 but on the OEM parts list my part # is #53141-300-010. So what I need to know is, are these the same throttle sleeves or not?
