so Terry, do you happen to have any M20 parts that wont be going towards your project? I need a few this and thats that you might not need.

         I've got a set of Snap-on Whitworth combination wrenches that include:
   
               1-BA, 0BA, 5/16 (I think. It's hard to make out, must have been used a lot), 3/8 BS, 7/16 BS, 1/2 BS, & 13/16 that my Dad gave me in a (get this) Bonney Wrench tool roll.  8) They were from the motorcycle shop that he and my Granddad had. How many remember Bonney tools? ??? ;) They may not be much, but they're mine. 8)

Be carefull Bill as there is Whitworth and BSF (British Standard Fine) and you will find that, for example, 1/2 inch Whit is the same spanner size accross the flats as 7/16 BSF

One of the few real "bargains" I've found in recent years at swap meets is whitworth spanners, I made up a set for a 1935 Triumph 3/1 (350 side-banger) that I restored for an army mate years ago. I bought a handful of beautiful English made spanners for only 4 or 5 bucks.

I'm going to the "All British Rally" in a couple of weeks, they have a swap meet too, so with luck I'll find some more spanners and some other bits for my B20/M20/C11 project. Cheers, Terry. ;D

          I had no idea about how those wrenches were sized or why. So, are you saying that my wrenches are of 2 different types? Makes me wonder if my Dad might have some more that he's forgotten about.
I wouldn't mind haring more about this subject. ;)
