Another UK Newbie
« on: March 12, 2008, 09:46:58 AM »
Hi all,

Just bought a 1976 CB550 and have been prowling the interweb for useful info, contacts, reference material and stuff. This is my first Honda since my first bike (a 1973 cb250K4) so I'm really looking forward to relighting the fire.

She's in good original shape but needs some TLC. I've already realised the Ebay USA has loads more SOHC items than over here- so spares look fairly plentiful.

I'll post some pics soon.

Other bike is a Prilla SL100o - awesome Vtwin and becoming a bit of a cult bike since it went out of production 3 years ago.

Anyway - looking forward to getting to know you all - and picking your brains. ;)

Cheers

Thanks everyone. I've started to strip ,clean, repair and replace. I've already got some questions  ??? ??? so I'll find my way around the other sections on the forum and post a thread or two.

Welcome,
You found a place you don't need to go elsewhere, and way better than ebay.
Post up lots of parts around here.
