A very good penetrant is ATF mixed 50/50 with acetone.

You shouldn't comment on Penetrant with that avatar pic Bobby, it just seems, er, wrong...........  ;D
Yes indeed Mate. I see your point. Oh well. ;D

KY is very good for penetration but is a poor penetrant. Too viscous.;D (This must be goad the Perv day here)

Bobby,

Being a native KentuckYian (Kentuckian) I never liked the way that KY jelly tasted on my PB & KY jelly sandwiches or elsewhere for that matter. Took too much effort to reduce the viscosity  ;)  :D  :)

My 350F was seized when it was given to me.  It had been sitting outside since 1982. I soaked in all kinds of solvents.  No amount of worrying the wheel and trying to kick it over would move it.  I couldn't take it apart because the cam sprocket bolts were un reachable. I guess I could've cut the chain.  I finally put a breaker bar (I don't think I would use an impact wrench) on the crank and with very little effort it turned.  It's been running now for about a year.....but, it was a stocker and I had little to lose.  If you have some performance parts involved I suggest taking it apart.

Thanks to all,I am still letting it soak and will try rocking and than breaker bar, then may strip it down.........just wondering if I were to strip it down is there any-one here(SOHC) that might be interested in the parts if they are Yoshimura,I'm in Ontario Can so shipping the whole unknown motor might be pretty damn expensive

You could also try some HEAT...  PB Blaster and an heat gun is a pretty good combo.
I've used that combo to unstick alot of stuck things.  squirt some in the plug holes and point the heat gun in there....
It'll start smoking eventuallly - that's when you know it's working ;)
Yep, I'm the kid that figured out how to put things back together...eventually.

The combo of PB blaster and heat gun always scared me too much to try it.  Isn't there a significant fire risk?

If it can catch fire I've probably already done it..... I'm sure it will burn (PB Blaster) but with a heat gun
I've yet to catch it on fire....yet  Not using a torch or anything
