Topic: Found parts, but can't get em?! MIKEXS yamaha only? Ugh?

Hi,

So, I found all the parts I needed at MikeXS, and I emailed asking if what the ratios on the tach/speedo are (need 2240:60 and 1:4), also needed some grips, LED taillights (1157 w/ dual contacts), mirrors, headlight bracket, and some fork boots 35mm. Stuff that was all on the webpage (except the gauge specs for the white face w/ LED idiot lights), but  I mentioned in my email that I needed it for a Honda 350F, therefore I got a return email saying "No honda Parts.  Try www.partsnmore.com Mikesxs " Baaaaaah....is there anyway around this? Does anyone know the exact parts from MIKEXS that I could use on this bike, so I can just order them pretending to need them for a Yamaha? Just when I thought I found the perfect place to order from, all from one vendor, free shipping, good prices! Bugga!

Ya might saunter in to the Yamaha dealer or any other Friendly yamaha place.........

Then tell them your project bike (yamaha) came without the speedo/tach........

Then ask for the drive ratios....

Barring that I believe Dennis Kirk and Tucker Rocky both carry the same gauges, they might be more helpfull.

kurt,if these are generic parts,tell em it dont matter what its for,do they want to make money or not.god i hate dealing with people that cant do nothin if they dont know whats its for or dont work on that kind of bike.
