My bike is a '77 550F, a very early one, and it came to me missing the return spring. After looking at the Honda parts fiche at the Bettencourt site and others, I'm not sure what to think. Maybe my bike has leftovers from '76, I don't know. I just want my setup right, and with the lever and brake shaft I have, I'm not sure how it's supposed to be setup and what parts should be on it. Here's how it looks now:
Anyone have pics of a '76 or '77 for reference?
The second pic has the spring from a K (I think) which won't fit, or at least I'm not sure how to make it fit.
