stock tank...

Yeah.... For a BSA Firebird 650 Scrambler Mk IV. That wasn't the point. The point was that, I believe, it is a unique shaped gas tank all the same. And I liked the single bolt up through the tank mount that was used on this one and several others.

          And it sold for $215.27.

Looks like a fun project, a lot of potential there
hope you do something to level the engine out! It just looks wrong leaning back like that.

Its not just the engine its the whole darn bike. Thats what happens when you slap on extended forks and don't rake the neck. I plan to ditch those extended forks and go back to something closer to stock length.

Heh, how much ground clearance will you have left when you do that?  That bike looks fairly low already!  :)  I agree with merc2dogs, lots of potential in that bike.

That may be it, but looks like they made the rear axle sit too high in relation to the cradle.
May have to shorten the lower / lengthen top tubes on the hardtail section to level it, then worry about the forks. Either one is fairly easy.

Yep BeezaChop "project". So many projects on the plate and so little time its pitiful. I have no focus. Some focus on one model. Some on one brand. Some on one country of origin. Me I just end up with all sorts of "stuff".

Short term focus is getting the riders back on the road. Spring might finally be here in northern WI so its time to get the batteries off the tenders and back in the bikes. Get them running and tuned and do some riding again. Then its on to finishing up my XS650 chopper. The frame is painted and the engine is rebuilt and in the frame. Girder front end installed and new tires are mounted. Need to start wiring and go through a set of carbs I dug out. This was a complete ground up build from whatever I had laying around in parts. The frame is a complete custom. After that or maybe while I'm working on that I need to get to work on my CB750K Cafe. Its complete for the most part, still needs paint and a tank lining. Then the russian sidecar bike needs some details worked out to get that on the road. Then there's the BSA M20, the CB77's, the '64 Jawa, a DT250, CB100, CL77's, Kawi MT1, CB500 hooligan bike, mods to my '70 Guzzi, refresh the CB750 K0 and K1, CA95 cafe project.............
