Let's see your car!
« on: April 15, 2008, 08:49:04 AM »
I know a lot of folks here are car nerds, too. I'd love to see your car as well! I got a big kick out of the other bike post and I'd love to see some sweet cars you have tucked away or even your rad daily driver :)

I don't have much, but I love them both!

I think there are quite a few VW fans on this forum.

I miss my old ride:

rc cars are awesome. I have an old traxxas 4tec nitro. 50mph from the box, that used to be fast. Some day I will get new radio gear and run it again. Also have a first generation rc-10, Talk about a classic!

Anyways, back to cars. I have a beater now, absolutely ugly but would tear through those VWs like nothing! So I have some consolation knowing that if some punk cuts me off, well I can cut his car in 2! ;D

Used to have a 1994 gmc sonoma, I could lay down rubber with that sucker and a cloud that could hold its own on any street! Electrical problems and apartment living required that I give it up. Got a 2000 s10 and while not as torquey, would do 90 all day long and get better mpg than at 60. Felt like a magic carpet ride too!

I drive a black Subaru Outback as my daily, but this VW was my daily for 9 years.  Now it just hangs out.

Just leased one of these. Nice American car assembled in Mexico.

Heffay, you have hurt me to the core.  I have a mini-van.  I'm curious, how do you get those projects home?   Mini-vans are a necessary tool.  My mini-van and I will go about 1500 miles this week, picking up a couple of 305 Super Hawk project bikes.  Try that with your 'cool' car.   ;) ;)

But there are so many it's hard to choose!

1991 Toyota Supra Turbo

bunch o' Caddies

The Trashcan & the 1961 Caddy convert in the background

1968 Caddy convert

1988 RX-7 convertible
And the newest addition is a 94 Mustang
There are old bikers and there are bold bikers but there are very few old, bold bikers.
