I bought a dohc frame recently very cheap, it had a nice chrome centerstand as well as a sohc front end ,
lots of good bits and electrics BUT,
the swing arm is a bit (note the technical term) too wide,AND the pivot bolt is a larger diameter than ye olde frame holes,
so, I would say I can't fit it but if you really want to, anything's possible.
the frame was a dohc750 and I scored a great set of rearsets of it. ;D

I know its only rock and roll,
but I like it...

1979 DOHC cb750 only (and I am not sure of that because despite owning one I have never tried to fit the swingarm to a SOHC, but a lot of the hondachopper guys swear by it). You can either use the existing brake system and wheel for a bolt on or fab your rear wheel to work (not too hard, just a longer brake bolt and different wheel spacers).  A lot of the hondachop guys liek it because it lowers the rear of the bike (the shock mounts are way back too) so you might wanna post over at hondachopper.com if you wanna find someone who actually has done this conversion.
